Who can come to the Youth Center?  Salamanca Youth Center is a municipal agency that provides a drop-in site for youth between the ages of 5-18.  Recreational and educational activities are offered.  All youth must register upon entering the Center and sign a daily attendance sheet on future visits.
   
The Salamanca Youth Center is partners with the Genesee County Youth Bureau and has 4 AmeriCorps members who help at the Youth Center and in the community.  If you have a project and need some volunteers to help, contact the Youth Center at 716-945-1311!

   
The Arts Alive summer theater program is once again being offered this year.  This program is designed for children entering 1st grade through Senior in high-school.

   
The Summer Playground Program is supervised  playgrounds
 located at South Avenue (Youth Center), Erie Street, School Street, Pine Street, Elm Street and Highland Avenue.

2023 Summer Playground Program -
HAS ENDED

​The Summer Playground Program is supervised  playgrounds beginning June 26, 2023.  
​Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM - Noon and 1:00 - 3:30 PM.  Ages 5-15 may attend. 
In the event of rain or inclement weather, the park program will be cancelled for the day.  
Playgrounds are located at South Avenue (Youth Center), Erie Street, School Street, Pine Street, Elm Street and Highland Avenue.

2023 Arts Alive Summer Theater Program -
​HAS ENDED

​The Youth Bureau is accepting registrations for the 2023 Arts Alive Summer Theater Program.  This program will begin on June 26th and will last until August 18th.  There will be a show/production at the end of the summer.  We will have fun and teach children about all aspects of the Theater during this free 8 week summer program. 
 
Children must be 5 – 18 years old to participate and a registration form is required prior to attending programming. Children will be grouped together in pods of 10 or fewer children, and we may use additional community space.
 
If you are interested in this program, please complete the registration form on your child and email it to sbrundage@salmun or mail them to Salamanca Youth Bureau, 36 South Ave., Salamanca, NY  14779. You may also FAX completed forms to 716-265-0225 or drop them off at the Youth Center prior to June 26th.
